ACTIN 2020

The aim of this meeting is bring together the UK actin community for informal talks and discussion. As always, the meeting will consist of short talks by post-docs and students with a prize awarded for the best presentation.  Because of Covid, the meeting will be held online this year.  And we will run it in shorter segments over a week because long online meetings are awful.

The meeting will run over 4 days; begining December 14th, with the final talks on Thursday December 17th.  Thanks to the Company of Biologists, registration for the meeting is FREE.  We would like to thanks everyone who has registered and we are now closed.  You can see a list of registrants here.

We will replace posters with 3 min pre-recorded talks, based on the 3 minute thesis format.  We will broadcast those live in three short sessions in the week, with a chance to discuss the work live.  And each day we will run a workshop after the talks with the themes that you selected.

We will have a public vote each day to select talks for the finals.  You can chose whether you wish to be included in the vote, or just give your pre-recorded short talk.

You find the schedules for each day in the dropdown tabs above.  We will add the titles and speakers for the talks and sessions as soon as they are finalised.

We would like to thanks everyone for their suggestions and offers of help.  There will likely be a few bumps, but hopefully we can still manage to get together to see the interesting and imaginative work we all do.
